Try Scuba & Treasure: Highlights from Warrior Memorial Reefs Foundation's Reels & Spears Gulf Classic, Panama City Beach

The air was buzzing with excitement at the Warrior Memorial Reefs Foundation's Reels & Spears Gulf Classic last Saturday, September 13th, and we were so proud to be part of it all. Our team spent the day at the beautiful Point South Marina Bay Point, meeting some of the best people in Panama City, FL and introducing them to the world we love most: scuba diving!
A Treasure Hunt Under the Water!
Our favorite part of the event was seeing the sheer joy on people's faces as they took their first breaths underwater. We gave over a dozen people their very first taste of scuba diving in the marina's pool by offering free "Try Scuba" for ages 8yrs+ right here in Panama City Beach!
To make it even more exciting, we had a unique treasure hunt! Our divers could collect treasure from the bottom of the pool which they then redeemed at our booth to find a real shark tooth to take home with them.
It was a thrill to watch future divers, from curious kids to adventure-seeking adults, discover the magic of breathing underwater and finding their very own piece of Florida's underwater history.
The Vibe on Land
Our booth was a whirlwind of activity. We had such a great time talking to fellow fishermen, families looking for a new hobby, and experienced divers planning their next adventure. We loved showing off our gear and answering countless questions about everything from the Scuba Station's Open Water Diver course to diving concepts and equipment. The passion in the air was contagious, and we truly loved connecting with all of you.
An Exclusive Event-Only Promotion
We were so thrilled that many of you took advantage of our special promotion! Those who signed up for our Open Water Diver Course at the event got to take home their very own set of mask, booties, and fins—a value of over $200! It was a great way for us to welcome new students into the Scuba Station of Panama City family.
A Community Worth Diving For
For us, giving back is a huge part of what we do, and we were thrilled to partner with the Warrior Memorial Reefs Foundation. Their mission is truly powerful. As a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, they build artificial reefs in memorial of veterans, first responders, and their K-9s, at no cost to the family. We were honored to donate two Open Water Diver Course certificates to their raffle. Seeing our community come together for such a great cause was a beautiful sight.
