Women's Dive Day | Discover Scuba Class | Try Scuba Diving

What is Discover Scuba Diving?

This is your chance to try scuba diving without committing to a full certification course. Under the close supervision of our experienced, certified instructors, you'll learn basic safety guidelines and skills, then head into the water to experience your first breaths underwater. It's a fantastic way to see if scuba diving is for you, all while exploring the beautiful marine life at the jetties at St. Andrews State Park.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025

• Location: The Jetties at St. Andrews State Park, Panama City, FL (under the pavilions at the far left of the parking lot)

• Sessions:

  • Session 1: 9:00am-10am

  • Session 2: 11:00am-12pm

• Duration: Each sessions is approximately 1 hour.

• Price:

  • Discover Scuba Experience: Normally $125 +tax, enjoy 25% off for this special event!

• Instructor Note: While this is a ladies-only event designed to create a comfortable and empowering environment for women, please note that our experienced and certified instructors leading the sessions may be male. They are dedicating to providing a safe, fun, and exceptionally supportive experience for all participants, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for women in the diving community.

• IF YOU ARE ALREADY CERTIFIED you are welcome to come out and join us! There is no cost to participate as a certified diver, simply show up with your gear and dive with us! If you do not have a buddy, or your buddy will be participating in the class, we will have other certified divers available to be your buddy. All genders welcome to come out and support Women's Dive Day!

  • If you are planning to attend as a certified diver, we would appreciate you registering for a FREE ticket, just so we have an idea of how many people to expect, and if you need a buddy!

Important Information:

• No prior scuba diving experience is necessary.

• All necessary gear will be provided.

• Participants must be at least 10 years old.

• Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled session to allow for check-in and preparation

• St. Andrews State Park charges an entry fee; $4 for single-occupant vehicle or $8 per car (up to 8 people).
